Gabby Hayes?

uh, no I have a foot beyond that length.

He had a nice beard though, but he maintained his just a tad longer than the US Navy reg length.

I should admit that I have gotten it stuck a few times in different scenes.

Now days it routinely gets stuck everytime that I zip up a jacket. At least I have finally trained the goats to stop trying to eat it.

In terms of avoiding getting stuck, it was much better when I kept it short to US Navy regs; but I much prefer it this way so here I am.

I am going for the ZZ-Top look.

Thanks for the giggles today.

Sorry, I suppose I'm showing my age When I was a kid he was Roy Rogers' sidekick. He was the ZZ Top of our day when talking about beards

My DH has a lot of the old westerns, including the Roy Rogers movies on VHS. For birthdays and holidays he would get them as gifts for a few years. Randolph Scott was a favorite of his as a kid.

The Cisco Kid's side kick "Poncho" (Leo Carillos) had a ranch not far from where I am.
