Live according to the weather: wear loose fitting, light colored/white, natural fiber clothing, cotton, seersucker, flax, etc. Keep the interior of the house or apt controlled with fans, shades, etc. Walk slowly, don't rush, drink iced mint tea and cooling foods (salads, watermelon). We can keep cool without a.c. and g-d forbid for many people, we may some day have to, as in power outages or other emergency.

Commercial establishments should be ac'd.
