Remember those annoying "YOU'RE APPROVED!" used car commercials from a few years ago? Looks like we won't be seeing them for a while.

Bangor car dealer banned from doing business until 2021 - The Portland Press Herald / Maine Sunday Telegram

I feel bad for the employees who are now out of jobs because of a crook.

Wasnt this guy already shut down/banned from doing business once or twice before? I doubt this will stop him, too much money to be made, he will get a friend or an extended family member to open the business in their name, then he will run it and call all the shots from the behind the scenes.

that would be the last way I ever bought a car. most of the time the car is over priced and the intrest is so high that it's set up for failure then the dealer gets the car repoed and sell's it off to the next sucker

That car dealer is a parasite. There is no question about it. He appears to be unstoppable. I'd be interested to know how many fatal car crashes could be contributed to his junk.

Anyone who gets tangled up with any outfit he runs needs his or her head examined.

Having said that, it's important to know who owns the dealership you are buying a car from. Also, have the car inspected by a REPUTABLE mechanic. It's good to foster a good relationship with one before you go looking for a new car.

They will save you a LOT of grief later down the road. It's worth it.

LOL, was that pun intended?

Side note- last year when I was looking to buy another truck, I went to the "Credit Now" place. I wanted to pay cash...they said they wouldn't sell me anything because they only wanted to do payment plans.

ofcourse they wanted payment plans only and no cash deals they wouldn't make a kick back off the high intrest rates they probily charge. sounds like someone needs to put him in one of his junkers and let it go off the cliff with him in it. sadly he will probily find another business and open up shop again!!
