OK, Heads up on the Labor Day Weekend on the East Coast and particularly Maine. No warning yet, just a suggestion that you get your stuff under shelter and watch your travel plans.

Here in Aurora, ME, it is Sunny with a few clouds (High 77-low 55), currently 76F degrees, Dew point 55F Degrees, Nice breeze (wind NNW 5mph)and feels cool in the shade...Been sleeping with the window open all week with two fleece blankets, one cotton and at one time got up to close the windows due to it being too cold! It's been great sleeping weather!

Here in Aurora, ME, awoke this morning to dampness I've only experienced in Jamaica! Checked - the temperature was 65F with dew point 65F!
Obviously fleece anything was thrown off the bed throughout the night!
Thankful the hurricane only caused discomfort!

It's been an awesome summer here, so can't complain. We have had over 40 days of 80 or above. After tonight, the next week looks great too.

Yesterday morning it took two swipes of the wipers and a couple of squirtso of Rainex to take the frost off the windshield of the truck in Lee and it is still summer. Fall begins next week.

I'm hoping it gets downright nippy by the first week of October because that's when we'll be there for a week along the coast. We're coming from Texas. Looks like your October temps are like our January temps! So I've been digging through all my sweaters and jackets and scarves and boots (cute boots, not actual SNOW boots - LOL). I'll probably look like I'm dressed like an Eskimo to most Mainers but we break out the jackets and scarves and boots the very second the temps drop below 60 degrees! Otherwise we'd never get a chance to wear them, and they're fun.
