Default Well, "be carefull for what you Wish for, you may get it...

Hi Group,

Well, I guess that I am getting my 'wish' today, and tomorrow...

I Posted my thoughts on this years' Maine Winter, a few weeks back and mentioned that I was wishing for a big, 'Classic ole Fashioned New England Blizzard'.....

'Guess that I'm getting my wish, huh?

NOAA Weather Radio, Ch8, Ch5 Weather, all state the same thing......"12 - 18" of heavy, wet Snow will be the norm, with isolated areas possibly receiving up to 20" - 24".

...Coastal flooding, blowing and drifting Snow, white out conditions, flying elephants may blow by your windows, etc.

The National Weather Service has named this storm, Winter Storm Quinn...

- Queue the old Manfried Mann song, The Mighty Quinn...

"C' mon without, C' mon within, you'll not see nothing, like the MIGHT QUINN".

I've filled up water containers, dug out plenty of candles, my Coleman camp stove & lantern, etc.
So that WHEN, not IF I loose power, I'm ready.

So, Like they used to say on those Wrestling shows....."LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLEEEEEEE...."

Stay 'snug & warm out there, everybody!

Milk, bread and eggs! Panic buying is under way in Maine. If you are going to make French toast anyway, use raisin bread. Mmmm good.

This was the first time I ever did that. I just happened to need those items at this time.

Sorry for lack of posts guys. Hope you all are staying safe and warm. I was posting here as it got wicked here yesterday with lightning and cement snow. Tree limbs falling everywhere.

Looks like its your turn now. 990mb storm is off the coast and bands of moisture rotating right in. Intense snow stuff will come in waves or might be persistent if sets up over you

The Purple radar colors are where the intense stuff is

2-6am loop
