I see the dakotas pop up on these lists but its only good if your making $ in the gas/oil business and generally most people seem to hate the place now population has grown too fast there and many of the people are undesirable sorts. I can see washington state being on the list I love that state. I feel idaho should be on the list but perhaps the low incomes hurt? Good to see maine on here but the bit about the heating is scary...also jobs...
