You might be getting off lightly for a change. We've had 25 inches since Friday afternoon, and managed to accumulate a stunning 9 inches in a 2-hour span Saturday evening. At least the wind gusts have dropped from 40 mph to around 15 mph.

No prizes for correctly guessing what I'll be doing Sunday.

Ya know, that guy who started the "It's Just Around the Corner" thread is definitely a "the glass is half full" type.

As much as I hate to say this, I am going to anyway. Good place for it!

Does it have to do with a shovel, a drive/walk way, snow, and a sore back? Just a BEWAG here. (Best Educated Wild Arsed Guess)

Just what I was thinking... almost.

We got am entire foot here in Ohio. They did the main roads and a few of the side, not ours except once when there was just 3 or 4 inches. DH was up most of the night shoveling our road.. grr.. talk about an unhappy taxpayer. The theatre company, show was also cancelled for a 2nd night because our county was on a Level 3 where only emergency vehicles were allowed on the road. If the stupid plows would have just come out once the storm was done, all roads would have been cleared by dinner. Can't wait to move where they know how to clear snow. BTW, we will be mowing by the end of the week should be in the mid 50's for highs.

Sorry I will stop my rant now.

We are having lots of wind this morning.

Howling winds. Decided not to go to church this morning, as we would expect a lot of blow-downs in the road.

25" is only up to your knees? You must be a lot taller than the camera shows.

Ditto here on the wind. Not sure what to expect regarding down trees on the road but I will report later as K missed the open hours at Milo Hardware and had to head farther afield to get parts to complete the install of the washer and dryer. I was quite surprised to see that they did have Sunday hours, and especially that they were open in the morning!

Alright now! I'm short. Yes I am. But not THAT short!

And now that I think of it, when have you seen my legs? I don't remember that one!

I'm actually 5'4.

Ok. DH says I have to print a retraction! He just got his tape measure out - that anal man!

It appears that my knees are only 18" high. 25" is almost mid-thigh.

Oh well!
