The Volvo Line has a way of drifting north in the summertime. It's like the tide coming in. Not much you can do about it, but it goes back out before Labor Day.

Yikes!! I hadn't heard of this before!! We're thinking of moving to Eastport and own, not one, but two Volvos - my wife and I have an XC and our 17-year-old son has an old 240. We didn't buy them for political reasons or to be part of some elite fraternity - we bought them for econimic and safety reasons. Both cars have over 100,000 miles on them and are going strong. We're going to keep them as long as we can. I just hope that when we get to Eastport we're not gonna be seen as some sort of snobs.

I think that while it's discussed as "Volvo" line, it's really more about an attitude than a particular vehicle that a person drives. If you come to Eastport to be part of a community and adapt to a life there, and not to try to change Eastport to the place you came from, you'll be fine
