wait, so you can carry it on you in a resturant as long as said restaurant allows it? if so thats more gun-friendly than AR, when i was there last year every restaurant was required to carry a sign saying its against state law to carry inside it.

Yep, this law really changes nothing other than not having to go to the town office for a concealed weapon permit that you could have paid $20 for anyways.

Not entirely true If you do not have a permit you can not carry concealed until you are 21 18 to 21 you still need a permit unless you are or where military. Also several places those without a permit can NOT carry. Acadia National Park (Permit required; 12 M.R.S. §756), State Parks (Permit required; open carry not permitted; 12 M.R.S. § 1803(7)), Regular archery hunting-deer only (Permit required; 12 MRS § 11403), Employees’ vehicles on work premises (Permit required; vehicle must be locked and firearm must not be visible; 26 M.R.S. §600).. These are important differences.

Thats the funniest thing ive heard all day. The state gov.is in disarray, Lepage tries to tantrum bills into non existance and he manages to screw that up. No one in the state gov can work with this dude, yet you believe that God is blessing us with the last surviving member of the Three Stooges?

Glad you got your wish to carry a weapon into the baby clothing section in Walmart, but the rest of us would rather have a functioning state gov.

Note that when this person says "baby section" we are supposed to be extremely concerned.

Not quite. Those are the rules that concealed carry permit holders have to abide by now. The same rules apply after you don't need a concealed carry permit. The only thing that has changed, is that you won't need to get a permit.

Toilet section or carring a gun while you shop for hemmoroid creme. While i question the need for angry elderly nra members to be armed and in a dirty harry mode, i believe that Lepage will be remembered as a tea party saboteur that was impeached for dereliction of duty. Thankfully there is an entire legislature that will roll back any action he attempts.

So enjoy your moment. Make sure that those around you can see your armed, act obnoxious and infantile with your new toys. Maybe Lepage will try to bring the Confederate Flag to Maine for a triumph of tea Party manners.
