If we didn't have such a lax welfare system, other states wouldn't be busing them into our state.

This will sound horrible but I've always hoped that drugs would become strong enough to kill instantly. yes, I know that sounds harsh and many children and adults that might be "experimenting" for the first time would become unfortunate victims but I feel that instant and sure death from doing drugs is the ONLY thing that might actually stop people from doing drugs. The human tendency of thinking "it won't happen to me" would be out the window with death assured.

On a side note......we should charge drug dealers with murder/attempted murder.....they are some of the lowest of the lowlifes on this planet.

Drug issues like we're having are the result of economic inequality which only gets worse.

Isn't difficult to figure out.

Has to do with oxy's etc. many get their start with oxy's and move om to heroin. Rich people do coke and other higher end drugs.

I think what you have said is an oversimplification. If no one bought drugs, they would be impossible to sell. Buying drugs makes a person poorer or are you suggesting everyone should be wealthy enough to purchase any drugs they want to abuse? Do people sit around and say, "I am poor, I will spend money on drugs so I can be poorer." or do they say, "I am wealthy, I will spend money on drugs."? or are you saying, people sell drugs to make a living because they are so poor they can't come up with another way to make a living? or do they sell drugs because they have plenty of money and want more money? Do they see selling drugs as a get rich quick or get richer quicker scheme? Everyone doesn't turn to selling drugs in an effort to achieve income equality or to make a living.

I think drug involvement/abuse (selling, buying, or using) results from a lack of respect for oneself and human life. I also think people lack hope. Some use drugs to try to spice up a seemingly mundane life or in an attempt to forget their troubles only to acquire a new set of troubles. Sometimes teenagers use drugs to try to be popular (accepted) with their peers. Maybe the same could be said for adults...

Stop trying to put those drug addiction treatment centers and counselors out of business. How would they make a living if their services weren't needed? I think it would be fantastic if their services weren't needed. What happened to being high on life?

Drugs have always been around since cocaine in coca cola to paregoric, to codeine in cough medicine, people handled it.
