Time to start thinking about it.

We need a head count
We need a date
We need a gathering place
We need to see how many can accomadate overnight people
We need to figure out what kind of first annual reunion we want
We need to start early so we can make travel plans.
We need to figure out how long the reunion should be - weekend or just an afternoon
Do we want to have it during one of the festivals?

I can sleep three people at our house in Eastport.

The WACO diner has a great deck that we can reserve part of.

I'm completely open on the date - I'll be there from May 25 to November 17

I think the first week in July should be out, since it's the big July 4 celebration and the city is crowded to bursting.

Depending on the date we choose, I don't know if mensaguy will be there or not.

I'm sure Ms. Molly will be able to give even more details on everything from where to stay to what to do when she's back on here.

Ideas????

Why thank ya. I am sure that most of you have been on for a while and I am new and all. I use to belong to a group a while back and we always had the best time. It was more like a chat room though and we were planning on getting together. It never did happen, but hopefully this one will. I think it will be a great way of meeting people in the new state I will be living in soon.
Thanks again....

We're planning to come up the first week of June, barring the house selling and being moved by that time. fingersXXX!!

But, of course, we will plan the trip whenever it works for everyone to get together. I wouldn't miss it!

What is this that you are talking about. My in-laws will be back in Eastport this summer, and we'll be going to the camp in Charlotte every weekend.

Well, it seems to be a get together, in Eastport Maine at the WACO diner on the deck of a bunch of Mainiac women, and their husbands. Sounds like a roaring good time, and plenty of beer for the men, and pink ladies for the women?? It seems they just sort of found each other, and that is that. No membership required, just show up! The best kind of get together, the one that just happens, sort of like Woodstock, only in Maine, with fewer people! Oh, no music unless one of the ya ya's sings!

Give them a few "Pink Ladies" and some of them probably will!

As my DW (MEnME) always says Tequila makes her clothes fall off. I can testify to that!!! My DW said "pink ladies" and I replied of course pink is the color of the ya ya's. She wrinkled her nose and said, okay...but "pink ladies"......Gosh I love that woman! She makes me swoon. (I am giving my age here, but who cares!). That is one special Maniac!

I have no idea what a pink lady is. I don't need it to go runnin' nekkid! I'll try almost anything once - even a pink lady. And I do sing - with or without the influence!
