Is it true that Maine has the best Red Lobster restaurants? I like the cheddarbay biscuits and crab legs. The clam chowder and shrimp dishes are very good too.

If you could go to a Red Lobster in Maine, which would it be ?

We get our lobster at our local IGA- fresh caught and Wow ! Nothing beats a Maine lobster. No clue for the chain "Red Lobster" except that - not as good as one from Maine.

Yes. Red Lobster in Maine is the best!!!

I'd definitely go to the one in Bangor or Auburn. Oh yeah, I did that back in the 90's. Think they've been closed for 25 years now. I guess now the best Red Lobster in Maine is in the ocean.

You want lobster head to the coast and buy them form a lobster pound. Cheaper much fresher and they will be from Maine waters.

In theory, the lobster at a Maine Red Lobster restaurant would be better than at Red Lobsters in other states, since the lobster should be fresher (assuming that Red Lobster uses lobsters only from Maine). But that's comparing one Red Lobster restaurant to another.

To get a really good lobster dinner in Maine, it would never occur to me to go to Red Lobster. There are so many, really good places to go in Maine for lobster, and that lobster would be right off the boat. You can't get better lobster than that.

In reading your question again, I see that you didn't ask about the lobster, but other dishes. But my answer would be the same. There are plenty of places in Maine where the seafood is excellent. Whether those places include Red Lobster, I don't know. Personally, I can't imagine going to Red Lobster when there are so many good, non-chain options in Maine.

Most times the Lobster at a "Red Lobster" is actually rock lobster, you know the ones without claws.

Why in the hell would you go to a Red Lobster in Maine? A chain? Like going to a Pizza Hut in Naples.

Lobster is so everywhere in Maine that you don't have to go to a red lobster to get it. Go to a Lobster pier and get it right off the boat.

It's a troll - he's also asked about Olive Garden in Kansas. Wonder if it's Penguin again?
