We have friends in forestry and the health center now and a friend who was a probation officer who are white. They've been there for years, it's working well for them.

I was thinking of an article that was in a paper a few years ago where one or two people were let go and their postions were then filled with natives. They when to labor relations, but were told that the tribe could do what it wanted to.

I'm probably reiterating what everyone else said, but I wouldn't want to drive from Eastport to Princeton regularly. Wonder if he could find a job in Machias and you could move to Machiasport?
