Nice neighborhoods in the Sidney, vassalboro, Belgrade areas (Winslow, Winthrop: house, schools)

I got some good information regarding relo early and with my wife working in Winslow, just a few questions

1) how are the schools in Sidney, vassalboro, Belgrade? Our oldest will be entering kindergarten and seems the schools in these towns are decent

2) are there any nice/desirable neighborhoods? We aren’t looking for land, but more a neighborhood feel so our kids can meet and play with neighbors?

3) is it worth looking at Winthrop, reading or other towns for better schools?

We live in a very small neighborhood of seven homes here in Vassalboro. All of which have small children, ours being the exception. Our youngest is thirteen and he's the oldest of the neighborhood. I believe the little boy next door is of kindergarten age.

Anyway, a neighbor has just split his lot and selling, will be the last buildable lot here. Our next door neighbors just built their house as well. Thought it might be worth a look for you, it's a great location just off the 201. Kids are always playing together here, up and down the street, up and down, all the dang time....... :-)
