Is there any attractions in Bethel Maine worth while visiting?
I’ve been there once many years ago during July. It was a ghost town. Absolutely beautiful views & log cabins. However, not a soul to be found. Maybe I was just in the wrong area? I would love to visit again. Maybe I missed something? Again, absolutely love the views! Would love to explore again possibly in October.

I’m open to any and all suggestions.
Thanks!

If you are up for a good hike, Old Speck Mountain will burn some calories. It's a nice trail and a good view from the summit. If you are coming in October, the views should be especially good.
