And parking! The parking is impossible.

I am staying on Turbat's Creek Rd, so not in the thick of things. Drove around a bit yesterday and was fairly dismayed at how impossible the parking situation is. Generally, I am here to unwind and decompress. I have no real plans or agenda. But would like to go out to dinner throughout the week. From what I saw yesterday, just finding a place to park in order to even go to a restaurant is very challenging. I ended up at Ramp 77, which was good, but I would like to try some other places.

I am going to drive around a bit today. Maybe if I try in more the Upper Village (Kennebunk) things will be more reasonable. Maybe it's walkable down to the Kennebunkport side? I have heard that there is a trolley as well. I don't mind paying for parking, but I didn't even see anywhere where that was an option.

Anyway, any recommendations would be appreciated. I am pretty easy, but do want to get out and about during the week.

ACROSS from "the colony" is a little rocky beach- go there and walk out on the breakwater - its at the mouth of the Kennebunk river......you can look over and see the Kennebunk beaches and of course the ocean is right in front of you..

the white barn is a 5 star place...bring your wallet..

the trolley museum is a good place to visit ..if its still open..

the Arundel wharf use to be the popular place for a drink
