We have some starting in this area, but they are mostly in distressed soils.

A few areas in Central Maine are showing color; mostly bogs and other marshy places. I'm always amazed at how quickly the color change happens and wish it lasted longer.

There are lots of trees on MDI that have patches of yellow and red. The trees in my yard are showing it too. Winter will be here in about 2 months.

First snow in Ellsworth for 2018--November 15. I love summer and I love Maine winters. I love having four distinct seasons even if spring ends up being rainy and muddy, it's still distinct. The fall colors in Maine are vivid and gawgeous but would be nice if they lasted longer. Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow
