That string line running behind his head there marks where the small creek runs through the property. It has disappeared, and the bridge over it is now floating somewhere down the Penobscot.
Unbelievable amount of water.

I might as well have gone skinny dipping yesterday for all my clothes ended up being worth. Water is cold this time of year... let's wait for the skinny dipping.
Tonight's update is much better. The water has receded enough to where Forest can now walk around his house again!!! The area where the photo was taken is now dry for the most part, and it's receding more every hour. The inside of the house is not so lucky right now... but it's going slowly but surely. It is down from last night.
Things are looking up. He can now get in and out of the house by foot, and not kayaking into the front door. Apparently, B has a photo of both Forest and their son doing this last evening. lol So it's getting there. Whew...
