Hello All,
My wife and I are moving to Unity, ME and wanted to make a few inquiries. Any help, suggestions, advice would be greatly appreciated!
1) Housing: we would like to rent for 6-12 months before we make a purchase. Any ideas? We've contacted some realtors and made a few other phone calls.
2) Job: My wife is interested in environmental consulting, conservation, land use, research jobs (geology, hydrology, rivers, etc). Any thoughts?
3) My wife is an equestrian and I am a homebrewer. Any clubs/facilities in the regions to accommodate these interests?

Thanks...

For your wife, she should check out Unity College. They are big on environmental programs.

Other than that, just wanted to say welcome to the forum from the original BacktoNE

I don't know about clubs, but in another thread I've mentioned that I was thinking about starting something along that line, a combination U-Brew facility and store, maybe a sort of school to teach people how to brew. There is only one brew supply store that I know of, in Bangor, but I haven't been there yet to see how they are stocked.

I'm a little northeast of Unity, in Carmel.

I am actually teaching at Unity. I have been a homebrewer for 6 years and would like to open a micro someday. We should chat.
