Many HWBB systems run 50/50 antifreeze in the system. If you switch out your heat carrying fluid from water to a mix, be SURE you put two check valves in line in series to revent antifreeze from backing up into your drinking water.

I'm just a renter in an apartment with baseboard heat, so I won't be doing any of that - but thanks. Someone else might benefit from the info.
