Yep, northern NJ was (and may still be) a big regional HQ for Chevron chemicals, as one example.

Mass sent us bills for both ways in 2019 but no Mass bills arrived from the Feb 2020 trip. Those bills were from the front license plate on the truck. (They could not possibly see the back plate due to the trailer...) NY Thruway is now using that system all over. So just drive through and keep your mail forwarded for a while!

And yes, the prices for this are considerably higher than EZpass. Worst example that I know of: The NE toll road around Denver costs just over double for direct pay or mail toll versus the discounted EZpass toll. But for an occasional trip. the cost of the EZPass transponder does not make sense.
Good to know. We will also be followed by my mom and her husband driving my pick up with the wife’s Grand Cherokee on a trailer behind it, so I’d have to get 2 EZ Passes anyway.

So...do you have a '92 Green YJ? Is that the Wrangler on tons with 40's? I also have a '92 Green YJ. It's a rust bucket right now and needs a frame off restoration. Got the stuff to work with, but now need the time. You should keep yours off the road in the winter or yours will be too. Wheeling in ME will be a lot different than in CA.

Well it’s no longer green, but yes it’s titled as a 92 YJ. Though since the complete frame off build it’s really a 2020 YJ as everything is brand new on it pretty much.

Thanks. Took me a year and a half. Full frame off build. Cut the body and frame in half and stretched both 18”s. Rocking a Chevy Dana 60 front and a Ford Dana 70 rear both locked with Detroit’s and chromoly 35 spline axle shafts. It has a 4.7L Stroker motor with a few more hop ups on it, an Atlas 4 speed transfer case, Tom Woods 1350 heavy duty driveshafts, full custom dash, PSC full hydro steering, etc, etc. I did almost the entire build myself except the transmission rebuild. That I took to a local shop. I even built the roll cage myself from scratch.

Down the road a bit I want to put up a shop on the new property and start doing custom Jeep work to make some dough. Bumpers, roll cages, rock rails, etc. I have a tube bender, welder, plasma cutter, and so on.

Take a look around when you get out to your part of Maine. Much of the NE USA is not so much into 'truck culture', as you typically find in the South and much of the West. But, heck maybe you will start a trend!

Which 4.7L? Mopar?

ATK engines. Got the stroker block for 3k to my door and built it up from there with a bunch of other goodies. Banks header, BBK 62MM throttle body, 27 lb hr 4 hole fuel injectors, MSD ignition, etc.

I thought about making stuff for ATVs and sleds as well. I can build damn near anything.

Ah....I asked a question on another one of your posts about suggestions where to move in Maine. Wasn't aware that pensions are not taxed in Maine, or do you have a state pension? We live in VT but are ready to move...various reasons.

Correction, Military pensions are not taxed here. So about the confusion.
