golf in a nutshell:

"I hate this game!"
"I hate this game!"
"I hate this game!"
"I hate this game!"
"I hate this game!"

"Hey, nice shot!"

"I love this game!"

My husband and son play golf ----and I love that they play golf. I never cared for golf personally but....whatever floats your boat!
My son is not yet 14yo and started beating Dad at 12.....he's likely to be well known soon enough....for golf!

How would that work? Line up a bunch of guys and try to block that putt? Maybe a caddy could carry the ball out to the kicker. Or perhaps, football should be played wearing pressed pants and shirts with little alligators embroidered on them.

I had little interest in golf until I started dating this amazing man who was great at golfing. He taught me quite a bit and I really enjoy golfing now. It is very relaxing and I am pretty good at it. The amazing man is now my husband and we golf every chance we get, but we definitely don't spend all our money on it.

Also on the dress code side of things, I don't think very many of the courses we have been to required you to dress a certain way.
