Constant stream of cars and trucks grinding through Rt 1 is amazing. Also, I know that Covid caused the delay of a lot of projects but seeing DPW crews digging up the road during this peak tourist time is really amazing.

But.....all that being said, the days between mid-September and May 1st make up for time lost during the summer! So, we tend to spend more time in Lincolnville at the beach and enjoying Dot's superb sandwiches and snacks.
If you're coming in from the north and like food, I can also highly recommend stopping in at Lincolnville General Store in Lincolnville Center. It's a beautifully restored old building with a magnificent porch and some tables outside. Everything they make there - baked goods, salads, sandwiches, pizzas, entrees, etc are all a cut above the ordinary.

Only two votes for Belfast!? That's my pick.
