As you know fuel prices follow the trend set with oil. Natural gas customers are already seeing a sharp rise in prices as more and more areas are hooking up to the gas lines. I have seen the squawking in the Colorado forum about the "outsiders" taking their gas and driving up the price.
People will always go after what is cheaper if it is available. Gas companies are not fools either . They know this is the time to expand their customer base and start getting in on these record profits the oil companies are enjoying. Electricity costs will follow as they see higher coal and NG prices. In a couple of years there won't be a dimes worth of difference between oil and natural gas.

No need to be terrified.

Hook yourself up with a wood heating system and you can come over to my place to load up with wood.

Wouldn't it be! I'd the thrilled to see $3 a gallon again. Not for him though. He's in Canada and paying by the liter.

Ask a Canadian how tall he is and he'll tell you in feet and inches. Ask him what he weighs and he'll tell you in pounds. Canadian hockey announcers do the same for hockey players and any Canadian can tell you how many miles per gallon he gets in his car.
