I don't eat the tomalley of lobster, and on a related note, I don't eat the organs of other animals, either..ewww...

If I'm THAT hungry... I'll just eat another lobster..

M'kay- how many people can eat a lobster (hard shell) and not use a hammer or a nutcracker to open it- just your own hands?

I've had it cold on crackers before it isn't too bad. I worked with a guy who used to go to the lobster pound and buy it by the 1/2 pint tub. He used it like mayonnaise.

We were always told it was the liver...I don't really know what it is but it's a pasty green stuff that tastes like fish and poo mixed together.

But it isn't too bad really

I love the tamale (lobster liver)...Anjon's restaurant in Scarbarough has an excellent lobster pasta sauce flavored with tamale.

I love friend clams in crumbs, steamed clams and steamed mussels in garlic butter, steamed lobster with a little fresh lime juice squeezed over it, and fried, baked, or broiled haddock.

Baked, fried, seared, scalloped, poached (not that kind of poached) broiled, grilled or in a chowdah! Almost everyone has a favorite Maine fish dish or seafood. I love them all !
Summer is here and it's time for fish and seafood! What is your ABSOLUTE favorite?? Or are you like me where you just CAN"T pick an ultimate favorite??
I do not have an all time favorite... I do like haddock, all the trouts, salmon of any sort and shrimp. Prefer "finny-fish grilled or lightly breaded and I eat mine with lemon, no tartar sauce. Shrimp I prefer boiled in Old Bay, with cocktail sauce (home made)

Any fisherman who has extras can just drop them off in Milo..
