I have a child development question to ask that I know at least one of you should be able to answer!
My boy is 3. He's had his little "Bebe" - a little fluffy brown bear who's barely hanging on by a thread - since he was born. Bebe is a part of the family. We never leave home or go to bed without him. We talk to him, hug him, kiss him, play with him, and now we've started buckling him into the seatbelt with Alexander so he'll be safe in the van.
I'm wondering how long it's ok to let that relationship continue before it becomes unacceptable. I've noticed that A treats him so much like a real person. Is that alright at this point?

Perfectly normal,... my Grandson, who will be 5 in January, has just recently stopped carrying his "baby" (bear) everywhere with him.

I wouldn't worry about it either. My older daughter has had her "blanky" since she was about 1. She took it everywhere with her, and it was always by her side or in her hand. As she got older, she gradually used it less and less. By the time she started pre-school, she only used it at night to snuggle (which she still does, at age 12! Don't know if that's unhealthy, but we figure since it's not hurting anyone...).

let him play with his bear till he's in his 40's like me.but mine isnt a bear it ragidy andy and i take him every where.
