so, I'm sitting here in the living room trying to stay out of the way and keep my mouth shut (not my strong points) because DH has decided that he is going to move one of our satellite boxes. This involves moving the outside line from one place around the corner to the other side of the house. I've all ready been called upon to provide a band-aid for something that I'm sure required a stitch or two, but I didn't say anything. You know that point where you get with your kids where you think "ok, it's too quiet".... well, that's now. I'm not sure I want to go down there....

That's when I leave the house. Like when my "Clark Griswold" ad in the blind part, scales the house to put up Christmas lights. I'm going for a massage or something and will just pray no ambulances have come while I'm gone. I can't take the stress. :P

Hahahahaha...I'm sure my wife could sympathize with you...just ask her about the day I called her to ask where the Betadine was and she refused to tell me until I told her why I needed it...ooh, I can still hear the screech that came out of the phone when I said "Well, I accidentally kind of shot myself a little bit."

Ummmm
Betadine?

We could re-write that old saying...

It's like putting betadine on a gunshot wound.

Yeah, I just wanted to clean up the hole. It really didn't bleed that much. It was a little bitty low-power slug that hit me on a ricochet, I've had much bigger and messier holes put in me...and they healed up just fine with about the same amount of doctoring. One of these days though, I should get up the nerve to cut the slug out- it's laying between the skin and bone just behind the wrist joint and it annoys the bejeebers out of me sometimes...especially if I'm wearing a heavy watch. My system would probably be better off without the extra lead, too.
