Love the fish, but can't handle the chips! That is my favorite fish batter, however. We have a place here that you'd all laugh about.....a small chain called Captain D's. Yes, it's along the lines of Long John Silver's. Sacrilege, I know!! Anyway, they use that batter and you can even order "extra cracklings" and they will fill the box with the excess breading that has fallen off in the bin. YUMMY!!!!!

As far as where the British are, can't answer that one! Unless you want a smartass answer......
