Whine Whine Whine...You'll all really envy us when it's 25 below zero this winter and we're shoveling through 10 foot drifts of global warming.

Try 100 degrees.....heat index NOT factored in. That's what we're up to this weekend. 97 today/100 by Sunday. Thank goodness we DO have air!!

We'll be hearing the heat related death reports on the news over the weekend. I just hope it's not because some idiot left their child or pet locked in the car while they go into the store to shop!!

It's cooler here but the sun has not been out a whole lot this summer. Kind of gloomy.

In Gorham: The sky darkened and now it is a pelting straight down rain storm...no wind or thunder or lightning but hard falling rain.

We've been in the high 80s and low-mid 90s most of July...have the ocean humidity making it feel much hotter. Yep, got A/C at home, but we work outdoors. Have shifted the work hours from 9 - 5, to 7 - 3. Everybody's happier with that!

We've had ferocious thunderstorms this summer. I'd posted awhile back that we'd "never" lost power here, but now we have twice - for short periods - this summer. I'll be happy to get up to Maine, too! Give me -25 and 10' snowdrifts any day! Much easier to bear than this HEAT!
