Last night we went to bed around 9 or so and i thought it seemd a little warm but then agine it could have been just me.Around 11 i woake up sweting my @#$% off so i opend the window by the bed and the wife says to me what are you doing.I told her it was hot in here and she says i think its just right as she snuggles under the covers.I thought agine it just me i gess and went back to bed.Around 1:30 i woake up agine ,nudgd the wife and says i think there is some thing wrong with me.and i stood up and went over by the window.so she says there is nothing wrong with you.As im standing there in my boxershorts (they have flames on them)she sits up and says, what the he#$ whys it so hot in here?and i said see it isnt me i knew it.one of the kids must have turnd the heat up.so i went out and turnd the thermostat down. When i came back in she said, what was it set on?I didnt even look i just turnd it down as far as it would go.she says ok and covers back up (with blankets)i thought how can she do it its gota be 85 in here and she is coverd up.about an hour went by and it just kept getting hoter she wakes up and says did you turn the heat down and i said yes.are you sure?yes.you didnt turn it up did you?no. go chek you musta turnd it the wrong way.no i didnt.and how would you no your coverd up with 2 blankets i said.she jumps up and says i will go turn it down my self and stomps out of the room.i just sat there with a big smile on my face.becouse she is going to have to tell me she is sorry when she gets back.she comes in lookd right at me and says dont say it.say what (i told you so)ok i wont but i did "right".
then she says your not getting an appolagy just fix it.I went out side and shut the zone pump off at the furnace at 3 and at 8 it was still 89 deg up stairs.what hapend was the bypas jambd open so all the exes heat was going to the upstairs and not back to the furnace.and i still havent got an im sorry dear for thinking your an idiot.but i did get ya how do you like the hot flashes and swets not so funny is it.no dear it isnt im sorry.

My husband and I could never agree on whether the house was hot or cold, either. He was forever too cold and I was forever too hot. Ya take the good with the bad. Just be thankful she didn't insist you get under the two blankets too.

awww... my DH is having the "hot flashes" and I'm chilly.

I don't think I'd enjoy waking up to a house that felt like it was on fire. I do know I hate waking up to an icy cold house because the heat wasn't clicked on.

When oil is $499.99 a gallon and a cord of wood $3678 you'll be in A world'odown-east pain-Peachie!
But not to worry that'll be next year.

Well shucks.
From the title of the post I thought this was going to be exiting but it just turned out to be an equipment malfunction.
