This is very sad I've known her since she was a little girl! It's so difficult to find younger people interested (and able!) in coming back home to their little towns and working to make a difference in the community. It's very, very sad to lose that bright star....

What a horrible thing to happen to someone so young and vibrant. She wasn't getting around a whole lot this summer but I did see her a couple of times. My thoughts go out to Meg.

It's always tragic to see a disease take someone so young! My condolences to her family and all the folks in Eastport who knew her.

This is so sad. I just feel at a loss when people that are young and are just being some great beginings have to leave us.
I do feel for the family and the community.
Thank you for this post molly.
