im haveing a sat dish installed on the truck this weekend so i can have my laptop on the road.i had it in my last truck and it made it nice just to watch tv .

There's an easier way. My cell company offers a way to use your cell phone as a modem for your computer. You can use it anywhere there's cell service. It costs $25 extra a month from our company.

ya but i like to watch tv in my down time.i should have kept the sat off my old truck when i sold it.my cell has a modem but it dont work at some truck stops.my sat all ways worked.

Our investigation of this method has shown that usually a cellphone WWW connection will be very slow.

Glad I didn't get the service, then. But with so many people using wireless without shielding, you can tap the internet just about anywhere. And a lot of places are starting to offer free internet. I was surprised that the airports had hot spots that they charged for.

Some what, I drive to Seattle to get sent to the Oregon office, South of Portland,(Wrong Portland) for three weeks, but the may haave some work back home in Spokane, in a 5 or 6 weeks. I am just happy to be at work again.
