Hello I was wondering if anyone knew any good inexpensive wedding officiants, notaries, ministers. I am getting married August 30, 2009 and every wedding officiant I have found costs over $200 dollars. I am just having a non religous ceremony at Fort Williams in Cape Elizabeth. Any help at all would be appreciated. Thank you!

Two websites that popped up here on the webpage are as follows: Wedding Officiants and Ministers for Weddings and Commitment Ceremonies at Officiants.TV and WedPlan.net
Have you tried the local justice of the peace?

Call the Cape Elizabeth town office and ask for recommendations. That is how we found the JP who married us in Boothbay Harbor and it only cost $60.00. That was 10 years ago, but even allowing for inflation, it shouldn't be $200.

Ask a close friend or relative to take the necessary steps and become a notary and have them officiate. It would make it much more personal.

Any Notary in Maine can perform weddings.

On my boat all weddings are valid for the duration of the voyage.

On this end of the trip, is it over before or after you throw the lines?

Just checking, I have commitment issues.
