THANKS Drama, but I can only pull one ... I am hoping to use the boat in lakes - don't think it would be ocean worthy; the bus, well the bus is me; Santa really looks good driving it

Tinbender - 14 layers, some of those layers are no doubt historic; maybe make a montage with some of the layers; I'm sure there is someone who can identify each layer

I HOPE to be there soon! just wrapping up some issues; have a month or so to deal with the VA; that should be it

We pulled 9 layers of wallpaper from the kitchen and at least that many layers from the foyer and staircase.

1st pic is about 5 layers from plaster...and (2nd pic) the last 4 layers. We figured the first wallpaper put up was late 1800s.The plaster in the bathroom said "...papered this wall June 7, 1884". Alot of the houses in Eastport date back to around then

That is AWESOME! Don’t think I would ever put up that style of wallpaper, but just fantasizing on the families that lived there, the get-togethers as well as life/death situations that house has been through - you're lucky! I still suggest documenting the various layers - maybe George Washington slept there

It sounds like you're quite attached to your bus, and I think it would be alot harder to replace than your boat. You could always sell your boat before you move, bring your bus and find another boat here. I can't imagine not having a boat here with all the lakes and free public boat launches and good fishing! Here's a popular Maine link to buy/sell/trade most anything: Uncle Henry's

THANKS for your feedback BOUND ... I am very attached to my bus; it's fun. When I lived in AZ I could drive it year round, in MN, I put it in the barn from Oct thru April; In ME (just guessing) I probably won't be able to drive much more than MN ... some hippie in a southern state would have a better time with it

What company do you work for? Are you in Eastport?

There are lots of people here that have collector vehicles --there is a popular eatery in Ellsworth that hosts car shows in the summer--a fun hangout with yummy food and ice cream treats!

I got your DM and raised you one DM

I know I should probably treat the bus as a collectable, but I drive it as much as possible ... it doesn't make sense to keep it in the garage and just look at it; we can pile in 8 other people and head off to the movies

How long is the growing season? I've read the Bee Keeper grows quite abit; but veggies would be good for a homeowner to grow; is the soil rich? does being close to the ocean air affect plant growth?

I appreciate all your input ;
