I went up in that area with my brother a few weeks ago.
Here are a few pictures of the first good view of Katahdin.
Not too far ahead and you will see the restaurant.
A couple more up closer to the the park. We waited but the clouds won.
Followed this monster for a while. He was moving right along too. I couldn't help but notice the larger sized load compared to the logging trucks I see going through my own town. Both my brother and I thought it was a mega load.

Great pics. I love that area. I get to see the mountain once or twice a week from the north or east and it's always a "wow" moment.
