We arrived safely on Friday evening. The move went fairly smoothly. Got lost once and stuck in a traffic jam twice. Now we're enjoying our new home state! Our rental house has been a bit of a culture shock. We went from living in a subdivision with 400 + houses to having 2 neighbors. And they're not even that close! Yesterday we walked around Camden. I know it's a tourist trap, but we love that town!

Well, back to checking out our surroundings...

I'm so glad that you made it home safe and sound!! I'm thinking that 2 distant neighbors will prove to be a big improvement over a subdivision with 400+ ***shudder*** once you get used to it.

I always enjoyed Camden in the off-season so much more than the middle of Summer. FYI, they have a juried craft show twice a year in the park by the library. Once in July (very crowded) and again the first weekend in October which was always our favorite.

Have fun exploring!

Yay!!!! I'm so glad you finally made it. Wish you weren't so far away, but still VERY happy you're here! We'll have to plan something at a mid-point so you can come sit and chat with us for a while. We are having the lunch on May 7th at Dysarts on the edge of Bangor. Maybe you can make that one.

Stuck in traffic? Do you mean like there were more than 3 other cars on the road?

Was it scary?

It must not have been in Maine.
