I think my family and I will have a quiet Easter. We are forgoing the ham this year, because I am sick of ham.

The hubby and I are going to his mother and stepfather's house. I am sure there will be ham there, which I also am sick of.

There aren't any children, so no easter egg hunts, or anything like that which I find sad...hopefully we'll have some in a few years.

Maybe you can hide some plastic eggs full of Hershey Kisses for hubby!

Is that a sigh of relief or a sigh of sadness?

Default Greek Easter is the same day as Western Easter this year !

We usually have traditional Greek holiday food for Easter, but this Easter it will be different, and definitely not quiet, with 10 out of 11 grandchildren in attendance and that includes 2 sets of 2 year old twins (I have 2 daughters and they both had twins in 2004 - 5 months apart, what's up with that ??)

Anyway, we opened a Mediterranean cafe last year and we serve all of our holiday dishes there, so it's hard to still think of them as 'holiday' fare...we're having turkey, ham and all the trimmings! And I'm fine with that ! But I still made koulouria and tsoureki !
