I like to walk in socks on freshly fallen, cold, crunchy snow. The stuff that falls when it's well below 20 degrees. I put on two pair and run around for a while until my feet start to feel cold. It feels like you're walking on a giant bale of cotton! I know ...not very curmudgeonly of me!

Not curmudgeonly at all! I love that. I will have to try that sometime if I ever have the chance to walk in freshly fallen snow.

Take care,
Lisa

Absolutely! Also, the barometric pressure can set "Granny's Rumetiz" off - I don't care what the "experts" say.

Joints (particularly well-worn ones) are a very good predictor of weather (along with animal behavior).
