Yes, contented, know the WB Forum. Used to post there frequently, but quite honestly, found there are more hobbiest than real builders. Never spent time in the bilge though....that's a pretty frightening place.

I will take you up Maineah on learning about your friends. Always good to make new contacts. Ted builds in wood also, but does repair and maintenance on both wood and fiberglass. We've been coming down for the Manie Boatbuilders show in Portland for 3 years now and have met quite a number of builders in the area. We're coming for the Maine Boats Homes and Harbors show in Rockland next weekend.
Hi SailorGirl2001,

Welcome (again)!

I'll be working at the Maine Boats Homes and Harbors Show in Rockland next Sunday, please come see me at the Sea Bags tent. I'd love to meet you.
(We'll also be at the Maine Wooden Boat show but I'm not working it)

Seems my friend will not be in Rockland next week. He has some out of state family stuff to attend to. I'll send you the link to his blog.

LOLOLOL... same twist here... instead I'll be working in Freeport that day. Our tent will be there but I will not.
Sorry sailorgirl, next time!

Default Yank

I think you have picked the perfect area of Maine to settle. After renting in a number of areas, the Pemaquid P is my favorite and plan to relocate there in the next yr or so. Wondered if you had found East Boothbay....also a great little town with lots of boatbuilding and off the beaten path a bit.
