You might want to go to National and Local Weather Forecast, Hurricane, Radar and Report and view the hour by hour forecast for the zip or town of your choice.

Yup. It will show you the worst of it will be about 20 - 24 mph winds and some lashing rains down through Isle au Haut to Eastport. High tides on the coast with rip current will bring some large swells into some harbors, so boats should be secured, but there won't be any need to panic regarding safety - as long as no one is a fool along the shoreline. Just a nor'eastah rollin' through in August is all. It doesn't even look like there'll be power lost. Except possibly on the island where the wind looks to be forecast as the strongest at 24 mph early Sunday morning... just about sunrise.

Boston weather at 6 pm shows down here on the Cape is to get the worst of the high seas. Maine and Mass. are not even in the cone for the path of it. It's going to be well out to sea.

You won't be getting tornadoes for the hurricane Spose. Saw earlier tonight many parts of Maine were on tornado alert thru some of this evening. That's from the storms coming from the west that is going to push the hurricanes path eastward.

Yes, that's correct.....the warnings have been posted here in NS. Beautiful sunny and humid day today. Great for stocking up on those emergency supplies and hauling boats out of the water.

I'll let you know how we did tomorrow. That is, if we have power!

How'd they make out for damage and such? That was a wicked trough that came through there last night. Thank God it did, that's what kept Hurricane Bill out to sea. Otherwise, we'd have all gotten smucked pretty good!!!
