Ranger - I got all that stuff (I'm a tool junkie) except for the piece of steel. And I'd have to replace the Captain with Bacardi, and the pizza would be Tombstone, made just down the road from here. If you were closer I'd fix you right up.......
Speaking of wood stoves, gotta tell you guys about a deal I got recently. Early Spring a neighbor stopped by and offered to sell me his Daka Wood Stove/Furnace along with a FULL cord of maple, cut & split. He moved to this area the year before and the stove was stored in his garage, not being used. He said he was going to install it but the local building inspector gave him a hard time so he was discouraged. He used it 1 year at his previous residence.
He said all he wanted was $150 for everything. I tried not to appear too anxious or eager (the wood is worth more than that) and said I'd take a look at it. He had the cash register receipt and instruction book and sure enough, it only had 1 years use. Anyway I scraped up that $150 quickly and had one of my boys haul the cord home with his PU. Right now that exact same stove cost $899 at Menards. Haven't got it hooked up yet but hopefully this week I will replace the smaller stove in my garage with this big Daka. BTW that maple is burning in my house stove right now keeping me warm
Too bad you're not closer to Freeport Ranger I have a plasma cutter, a tig welder and some titanium plate. We could make you a titanium converter if you wanted it! Good luck with the project I'm sure it will work well when you're finished.(despite the bacardi and pizza) I know the pain of buying a new stove . Ours was $2700.00 last year and was the mid range model. I almost choked at that price. I can't imaging paying $4,000 or more for one!
mine is way bigger then that one its 2''x25''x18'' there is a pic of the old one back on post #9
