yeppie...we will be staying in downtown Portland dh did two interviews from here in Fl. now for the final face to face (oh how we are praying) the co. is very nice they are flying dh and even upgraded our room to a queen for me
we will meet with a realator on Sat. to look at some house rentals until we get settled and figure out where we want to live. This is soooo cool

Can't wait to take photos for the photo thread

Big hugs to everyone that has answered all our questions and have given us wonderful information on Maine.

Thanks everyone..this move has been a lot less stressful and FUN because of all of you

Now for a winter get together...making snow people followed by hot coco with Tia Maria and whipped cream on top.

Glad you are so excited about coming to Maine. Will your hubby's job be in the Portland area? You may find the smaller towns surrounding Portland to be a bit cheaper for renting. There is a place in Yarmouth called the "Junipers" that is condo rentals I believe. You might want to check that out. It is close to the highway for comute.

we are looking to rent a house...we have a chocolate lab that needs a play yard, very well behaved, just big Thanks though and yes near the triangle is where the company is...our daughter will be going to school in the area too. we have seen a few homes in the Deering and west end area that our realator will show us when we get up there.

You'll be here for the opening day of deer hunting season. Aren't you glad? I hope your realator provides you with orange hats and a orange collar for your dog.

puppy (9 yrs old) and us will absolutly get orange....dh looking forward to deer hunting next season, when we drive up in two weeks we will stop at my MIL to get his guns in NY.

So excited for you!
It may help to target 2 school districts and have the realtor search for rental within those boundaries, Make sure you take your time and look in many different areas for rentals! There appear to be many homes available.
