I have been informed that it is CD protocol, for the person whose rep put the poster over the top for the gold star to start a new congratulatory thread. Generally these threads are posted in the community chat section forum, but seeing most of us Mainers are so clannish we rarely venture out of Maine, I thought I'd post it here!

I hope you'll ALL join me in congratulating Maineah on his fist gold star! His daily contributions to this forum are what makes us all keep coming back. His thoughts, his wisdom and not to mention his knowledge of the ENTIRE State of Maine are a very helpful to new posters and provide the rest of us with our daily dose of laughter. Your thread starters have drawn the attention of posters from all over the country. It's always nice to have visitors come in and have a reason to stick around to learn about us, Mainers and Mainerwannabees.

To a very valued member of this forum, Thank you Maineah for all that you contribute to make this place a great place to stop and visit!

Default Congratulations, Maineah!

If this site allowed me to rep you more often, it would have happened a lot sooner!

Thank you for all the great stories, perspectives, and insights into life in Maine. My husband is very similar to you--quiet, loving, Conservative...!

You da man Maineah, Thanks for all the good words of wisdom you have shared with me on your wonderful state. So hang in there and you are few reps away from gold star number two. Make sure you cut and paste your star and put it on the fridge so all can see.
