My gps changes from daytime mode to nighttime mode at 3:35pm. I think I need to start getting up earlier so I can have more daylight. That magic day is coming up where the days get longer. Lately, my mode has been down.

If memory serves me correctly, 12/21 will see the first longer day of this winter.

I'm so thankful I'll be in south Florida by late Thursday night. The day is longer by about 1.5 hours!!! Wonderfully enjoyable!!!

A simply great video 7th. Thanks for sharing this from the Hawaii forum. What a great message this spreads for all of us, no matter our successes and directions in life, there's always room to help someone else who needs a little lift along the way. It's a fulfilling job to undertake. There's no higher purpose in life than giving of yourself. It cuts through every stigma humanity can put before it. And isn't that truly the spirit of the Christmas season. Extremely heartwarming. Thank-you.

Yup, I said it. The rest of you were thinking it, I actually said it. Go figure.

Okay I got into a discussion elsewhere and clearly I am wrong [which is not entirely unusual], so let me ask you guys your opinions.

What states are in New England?

I never had considered: Maryland, The Virginias, Kentucky, Ohio, Penn, Delaware, New Jersey, Michigan, all to be parts of New England.

I voiced this and apparently a bunch of folks who all live in these states, all agree that they are in New England, and that I am messed up.

So what say you guys?

The last I knew Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, & The Virginias, were Mid Atlantic States. Kentucky southern Ohio, Penn, Michigan, Midwestern?

New England consists of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Mass., Conn., and Rhode Island. Now, of course, that was a few years back in Grammar School but I believe that to be correct. I'll google.
