What a wonderful gesture. We know he donates to many charities, this is more like a Chistmas gift to Maine. What could be better than that?

I posted this primarily because I don't think he and Tabitha get enough credit for the amount of money they shell out in Maine (publicized or more often - not).

Also, it's from their personal fund, not the King Foundation.

I think if people knew how much they really gave back to Bangor and the State as a whole, it would be shocking to most. I've worked from Dickey to Kittery; Lubec to Dennistown and Pittston Farms; and just about every place in between. The number of times the Kings names have come up for financing a project or a portion of work being done was amazing.
