Heading North tomorrow for a (too) short visit to our future home in the County. This will be my DWs first visit. For some reason I keep seeing reruns of "Green Acres" in my head. We hope to get some work done on the place, but mainly going to explore and haul some of our stuff. We're both excited! Long drive there from our current home in Missouri, but will be a longer drive home.
gas up in bangor-the gas will usually be cheaper, not sure if the mt katadhin overlook is open , if it is, it's worth stopping to stretch your legs and enjoy the view(off 95 north of millinocket)

The "Green Acres" thing is too funny.....my wfie is from Toronto and it was a whole different world for her too (although she had been to the County many times before we moved here).
