I currently live in PA and I am thinking of relocating to MD or DE. How is the job market in MD for Contract Administrators or Lab Techs? In MD I am considering Columbia, Owing Mills. Can you give me an insiders view on each area? I can afford up $1200 for rent

Lots of people are relocating all over the country now.
Wherever they (you) may want to go... they (you) really need to get hired first.

Pass. I have no basis for an opinion.
Have you seen many ads for them?

Both are busy suburban areas with lots happening.

Really? Is that $1200 number based on your past earnings doing your work?
Assuming so... I'll extrapolate that 1200 represents no more than 1/3 of your monthly gross (x3 x12) and that your annual gross income has been no less than $43,200 for a while.
Is that what Contract Administrators and Lab Techs earn?

Good luck.

$1200 is what i pay now in rent. I can afford more. I already started sending out resumes. I will be checking out each area on my own to get a feel on how the neighborhoods are.
Thanks

If you have a background in contract administration you should consider relocating to Saint Mary's County. There are lots of opportunities in that field at Patuxent River Naval base. Look at listings posted on simplyhired.com or Advertisement - Employment Classifieds

Good luck
