Was expecting something similar to the one sold at Matthews Pizza in Highlandtown... now that's a crab pizza). It was a spur of the moment visit though. I've also read good things about Bohemia Cafe.

The whole town would be a nice place to spend an anniversary- especially in the spring. Which I might do, this year. They've got some interesting bed & breakfasts housed in fantastic early 19th century buildings on Bohemia Avenue.
Amazingly I've never been to Matthews, not that I can remember anyway, but I used to make crab pizza at a restaurant on the shore I worked at for a while. All that imperial sauce, good lump crab, mounds of cheese and a bunch of old bay? What's not to like? I can't tell you how often I "mistakenly" made an extra for the kitchen guys to enjoy.

Bayard is really good for special occasions. Big windows looking out at the canal and bridge, outside seating when it's nice.

Well, you've got to try it then, it's right before Patterson Park. Not sure how it'd compare to the one you made, it's likely canned crabmeat too but there are some lumps and it's pretty good! Like a white pizza with lots of Old Bay and crabmeat, a bit greasy but you have to live a little sometimes

I will be going to Bayard come April
