Hi, I've been offered a job next summer with a few potential locations, one being Hanover , MD. My job would be at the Arundel Mills mall. I don't know much about the area so I had a few questions:

It's not even a city.
Arundel Mills is your run of the mill crowded suburban mall.
1) If you like generic suburbia, as the other poster mentioned, go for it.
2) I have no idea.
3) YES you would need a car.

It is not an area where short-term rentals for the summer are typical. I would try Craigslist for the Baltimore area or the Baltimore City Paper. Maybe you will find a student who needs a roommate for the summer. UMBC is close by, and several other colleges in the city. Or just list yourself in a housing wanted section.
