Beltsville is pretty decent... I never had a problem there.. Largo... thats a whole different world. Felt like I was in the episode of "Martin"

Largo is a microcosm of how complicated the MVA process is in the state. I was there last week and of the 30+ windows employees could be working about 1/2 were empty while the seats were full of waiting people.

How about the rise in cost of renewing your registration? $100 for processing a title?
It's Maryland and it is supposed to be difficult. Ever look at what you pay in taxes for every other aspect of life here?

I've been to most in the central Maryland region. I like Frederick the best - nice location, clean, and newer. I put Westminster at the bottom of the stack.

The best is the North Plaza MVA on Perring Parkway. Short lines. Low stress.

The MVA in Annapolis isn't too bad...especially compared to some of them. From what it sounds like this would be WAY out of your way but in St. Mary's County all the way down in the very southern part of Maryland, there is an MVA location called Loveville (yes, that's what it's called lol) in Leonardtown and that was by far my quickest and most painless experience at an MVA. So if you're ever in the area or just really want to try a new place than I would definitely reccomend this Loveville. It's not perfect but it's far better than the ones I've been to which include Largo, Annapolis, and Waldorf. Loveville is definitely quicker and I found people there to be more friendly perhaps because it wasn't as crowded and hectic as the others are. I've been to this MVA a couple of times on different days at different times and it's been pretty consistent.
